Selecting the right Sun Tunnel tubular skylight is easy.
Step 1 - Flashing Profile
First, start with the position of the skylight on your roof. If that section of the roof faces °South, select a low profile unit that will blend into the roof profile. If the roof faces North, use a pitched flashing unit to maximise the light obtained through the skylight.

Step 2 - Tunnel Type
Next, take a look in the attic where the Sun Tunnel will be installed. If there is a clear run between the ceiling and the roof, then select a rigid tube model for maximum light transmission. If there are some obstructions that you need to route the tube around, select a flexible tube - there will be a slight reduction in light transmission, but the installation will be much easier.
